Principles First Gathering: Public Corruption and the Rule of Law

Join Principles First for an evening of good food, great company, and engaging discussion about the challenge of public corruption and the collective defense of the rule of law in the United States. This gathering will occur in the Grand Ballroom of the Yale Club in New York City on the evening of Thursday, May 8th from 6pm-8:30pm EST. Doors open at 6pm.

The evening will begin with a welcome reception followed by the formal programming.

Join us for a timely and important discussion examining the erosion of democratic principles, the rise of public corruption, and the role of legal institutions in upholding the rule of law. We will be joined by featured speakers Mimi Rocah, former Westchester County District Attorney, and Preet Bharara, former U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York. We will also honor the principled stand of associates who resigned in protest of their firms’ capitulation to the Trump administration—individuals who chose integrity over complicity – followed by a panel discussion with associates Brenna Trout Frey and Sam Wong in a conversation moderated by NYU Law professor, Rick Pildes.
