Principles First to Host Fourth Annual Summit in Washington DC
Gathering will be the group’s largest to date, and will showcase speakers offering a principled vision for American leadership, in opposition to illiberalism on the right.
WASHINGTON – February 5, 2024 – The fourth annual Principles First Summit will take place at the Conrad in Washington DC from February 23 – 25, bringing together hundreds of grassroots leaders from across the country to offer a positive vision for advancing principled conservatism in the United States.
The gathering serves as an alternative to CPAC — the Conservative Political Action Conference — and will be held at the same time as the gathering. We expect an attendance of 500+ and the event will showcase a broad range of speakers from the broad center-right, including:
- Adam Kinzinger, Former Congressman
- Asa Hutchinson, 46th Governor of Arkansas
- George Conway, Society for the Rule of Law
- J. Michael Luttig, Former Federal Judge
- Alberto Gonzales, Former Attorney General of the United States
- Brad Raffensperger, Georgia Secretary of State
- Cassidy Hutchinson, Former White House Aide
The full list of speakers can be found on the Summit page. Members of the public may purchase tickets to the Summit, and media are welcome to attend.
Since its inception, the Summit has grown from a small gathering to a major national convening focused on developing strong character-driven leadership on the right, committed to supporting individual freedom, speaking the truth, and upholding the Constitution. Through panels, networking, and strategy sessions, participants will focus on confronting authoritarianism at home and abroad; offering a positive economic agenda; the crisis of faith in America; and more.
The theme of this year’s Summit is “Conserving America’s Liberal Tradition.” Participating organizations include The Bulwark, Country First, the Society for the Rule of Law, The Dispatch, The Trinity Forum, San Francisco Briones Society, VoteSharp, Johns Hopkins SNF Agora Institute, The Institute on Religion & Democracy, and The Keep Nine Amendment.
